Taking forward its continuous efforts of building an active democratic citizenry in the country, Election Commission of India has undertaken a new initiative by designing a Mobile Application to show information published by candidates during nomination regarding their criminal antecedents, so that at one stroke, each voter gets such information on his/her mobile phone.The app provides following facilities to Indian voters:(1) View all candidates who filled nomination (2) View candidate’s details (3) View candidate’s affidavit including criminal antecedents (4) Search Candidate by Name(5) Know Your Candidate
